And so, it's back to work I go...
I had a small patch of 5 days off(extended weekend), but it felt like really it was no time at all. I still had the tendency to wake up early when there was no need to, but maybe that is due to making it a habit to wake up as soon as the sun is up. It's kinda like a switch in my brain and BAM! I am awake, even though the bags and lines under my eyes tell me that I should lay in bed for a while longer.*shrugs*
Jassen and I got Wii fit. On day 6, so maybe later on, when I come back from work, I will do some of the yoga, stretches, and aerobics. I was good and did about 3 days in a row, but then the 4th day, I was a bit injured since I twisted my ankle walking down some steps at a Starbucks in Central London.
At first it felt a bit hurty, but the more that I walked and made my way to the underground, I realized that it was hurting more than I anticipated it would. I have the habit of tripping up and it probably has something to do with the fact of having flat feet and not the strongest of ankles that I trip-up. I took it easy yesterday and my foot feels close to normal.
I work for a couple of days, have a day to chill, should work a couple more days, have another day to chill, then work a small handful of days, then my parents will be here to visit. I look very forward to having time to hang with them.
I listened to Coldplay's new single, "Violet Hill", which I internalize as violent hill. :-/ Anywho, I will give a few more listens, I'm sure of it, but I think it is a grower kind of song. I mean, at first, I wasnt the biggest fan of Elbow's or Guillemots new album, but the more I listened to them, the more I liked it. Ah well.
*sips coffee*
Charging up my ipod for the trek ahead.:-p
Have a good day, everyone!

I was...
chatting with my mom last night before my parents headed out to use up some Applebee's gift certificates for dinner. Apparently, the White Castle that I frequent called the house asking for me. Haha...They thanked me for the comments that I left on the main mother of a site and I believe also will be sending me some freebies. w00t!
I <3 White Castle.
I have yet to make a post about Dublin, but the thing is, we ended up taking somewhere in the range of 450-500 pics of the place, so really I want to sort out the ones I like best!;-)
Yesterday, IKEA had their 21st Birthday celebration here in the UK, so EVERYTHING was 21% off(expect riots), as well as free breakfast from 6-8am(which we managed to attend!), and 21p hotdog, which we came in at 830-9pm(aftter my work) for those!
In the morning, the crowds around 8-9am weren't that bad at all, since we didnt aim to be there at opening when I'm sure a rush of people charged in. We managed to get 10 bars of chocolate(normally 40p each for 32p each, which is more than a steal of a deal), as well as circular mirrors, 4 food tables for sitting on the couch, whilst watching tv(in other words, TV trays), table mats, steak knives(since we didnt have any yet), a melting sauce pan(which we propose to use for chocs in order to get the yummy toppings for ice cream that harden on the top!), a mini ironing board, and maybe a few other things...
Later on, I wanted to head back to get a poster frame(normally £13) and Jassen picked up some batteries when we were walking around, but when we headed to the front, the queue's were longer than at a gig, so we dropped everything and just headed to the food lines(much shorter) and picked up some yummy hot dogs. Hahaha...Since we had more than on our hands, we stopped at Tesco to get our kits some cat foods, but a "light" version, since Salt doesnt seem to be losing any weight, even though we just give them dry food throughout the day, instead of the dry food/wet food at dinner deal.
We have a thing called catit that is a water fountain for cats that re-circulates the water to filter it, and the kits LOVE it, plus its excellent for their kidneys, etc. Highly recommended!!

OMGoshness...
By Mitchell Peters Reuters - Tuesday, April 1 01:06 pm
LOS ANGELES (Billboard) - The recently reunited Stone Temple Pilots will next week announce plans for a summer tour of more than 50 amphitheatres, sources said.
The L.A. rock group has already confirmed a handful of festival dates, beginning with the Rock on the Range festival in Columbus, Ohio, on May 17-18.
Further details about STP's tour will be announced during an April 7 news conference at the Harry Houdini Estate in Los Angeles. It is still unclear whether the band will record new material.
Rock on the Range will be Stone Temple Pilots' first show since 2002, when it played 13 concerts to promote its final album, 2001's "Shangri-La Dee Da."
Singer Scott Weiland went on to co-found Velvet Revolver, which is about to conclude a European tour in support of its second album. But he and drummer Matt Sorum are engaged in a public feud, casting doubt on the outfit's future.

I really hope they make it to the U.K. Definitely on my list of bands I want to see before I kick the bucket!

I decided to write...
to white castle...
Lately, I've been craving their burgers like nothing else.
There was a section on their website for comments, so I wrote my book there.;-)
Here goes:
Dear White Castle,
What can I say, but I love you guys. It was made tradition, whenever I gigged with my musician father, afterwards we would grab a sack of 10 along with sides of fries and grape drinks, no matter what time of day or night it happened to be. I cherish these moments, the yummy taste of the sliders, the "moreish" fries, and the refreshing grape drink that simply made life perfect.
Sadly, I moved country and now live in the U.K. and often I find myself craving those delectable burgers. I was just curious if you guys ever plan to branch out to Europe? If not, could I have a free coupon/s for the next time I visit with my Dad. It probably won't be until the end of the year, but until then, I'll dream.;-)

Am "I"...
never happy with myself?
I started reading A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle . This is the same author of The Power of Now, which I totally loved. It is a good read, when I feel like I am in the mood to learn. I am a rollercoaster of emotion at the moment, feeling like it's hard to reach out, into the nature of my true self. It's underneath all of these layers that I put on myself.
We all have ego. It's just a part of the package deal with living, a weight in this balance. When I concentrate on my hands, the energy that vibes brightly underneath, I feel just how unnecessary I whine and bitch about my unhappiness. Really, it is my ego that wants to eat up everything in site, never happy with anything. I mean, the motivation with ego can be good, if I push myself to achieve, then sit back and let myself enjoy the light of achievement, but not too much and not for too long. Strange balance, this life is.
The light is shining, my kits bask in the afternoon sun. So simple....so easy. It really is that easy, if I let it be.
I feel like the energy of George Harrison has entered my consciousness....
I'll leave you with this:
"All through the day
I me mine, I me mine, I me mine
All through the night
I me mine, I me mine, I me mine
Now they're frightened of leaving it
Ev'ryone's weaving it
Coming on strong all the time
All through the day
I me mine
I me me mine, I me me mine,
I me me mine, I me me mine
All I can hear
I me mine, I me mine, I me mine
Even those tears
I me mine, I me mine, I me mine
No one's frightened of playing it
Everyone's saying it
Flowing more freely than wine
All through the day
I me mine
I me me mine, I me me mine,
I me me mine, I me me mine
All I can hear
I me mine, I me mine, I me mine
Even those tears
I me mine, I me mine, I me mine
No one's frightened of playing it
Everyone's saying it
Flowing more freely than wine
All through the day
I me mine"

Been...
feeling nauseous and slightly dizzy since yesterday afternoon.
I don't know whether I got a bug of some sort, maybe a weird kind of flu. Whatever it is, it's not fun and overly annoying. I attempted to sleep last night and that didn't go well. I do recall dreaming a little, but more often than not, when I turned over in my sleep, I would wake up.
Today I plan to take as much ginger as possible daily, as well as dig into a vat of yogurt to clean my insides.
*sighs*
In positive news, our trip is coming up at the end of the week.:-)

On a quest...
for better health.....
On Day 5 of drinking 1.5 liters of water. That equates to about 7ish glasses a water per day. I usual end up drinking slightly more than that, but I do think I can feel the affects of the water drinking. Maybe I'm just getting more oxygen to my brain.:-p
Recently, I've somewhat came to a breaking point, with the fact that I don't really have much of my own life, besides working, food, sleeping, some time with Jassen and my kittens. So, I am attempting to get back into drawing a bit. It comes easy to me, but really it's for me to put up the challenges in that area. At the moment, I am attempting to draw Natalie Portman, so I will put some pictures up soon.:-)
