Symbols in dreams--

In continuing from the dream discussed below, here are some more symbols that I looked up pertaining to my dream.

REFRIGERATOR

To see or open a refrigerator in your dream, represents your chilling personality and/or cold emotions. The dream may also be telling you need to put some goal, plan, or situation on hold. Alternatively, it signifies that you have found and accomplished what you have been unconsciously seeking.

(There were two fridges. The one on the left was normal. The one on the right was locked, but then was opened when I wasn’t paying that close attention. This is where 13 eggs came into play and there was a need to get fresher ones)

ABROAD(ROAD)

To dream of being abroad in a foreign land, indicates an unbalance and chaos to your current situation and condition. Consequently, you may seek for a change in scenery.


ROAD

To see a road in your dream, indicates your sense of direction and pursuit of your goals. To see a winding and bumpy road in your dream, signifies that will find many obstacles and setbacks toward your goals. You may be met with unexpected difficulties. If the road is dark, then it reflects the darker or more frightening choices which you have made or are making.
To see a smooth road bordered by green trees and flowers, denotes a steady progress and steady climb up the social ladder. If the road is straight and narrow, then it means that your path to success is going according as planned.
To see an unknown road in your dream, signifies that you new project will cause more grief than it is worth and a waste of time.

(It was a busy road and it felt like Chicago but It was something of a mix between London and Chicago.)

BATHROOM

To dream that you are in the bathroom, relates to your instinctual urges. You may be experiencing some burdens/feelings and need to "relieve yourself". Alternatively, it may symbolize purification and self-renewal. You need to cleanse yourself, both emotionally and psychologically.
To dream that you are in a public restroom with no stalls, signifies your frustrations about getting enough privacy. It may also indicate that you are having difficulties letting go of old emotions. If you reveal these feelings, you are afraid that others around you will judge and criticize you.
To dream that you can not find the bathroom, signifies that you are have difficulties in releasing and expressing your emotions.

( I was passing by a public restroom. I was going to go inside but I decided to continue on. I felt like I had a deadline to be somewhere.)

TRIP

To dream that you are going on a trip, suggests that you are in need of a change of scenery. You are feeling overworked and need to take time out for yourself for some fun and relaxation.

(Madonna and I were going to catch a flight.)

HIPS

To notice your hips in your dream, represents your mobility adaptability to some situation. It relates to getting things done.

LEGS

To see your legs in your dream, indicate that you have regained confidence to stand up and take control again. It also implies progress and your ability to navigate through life. If your legs are weak, then you may be feeling emotionally vulnerable. If you see someone else's legs, then it represents your admiration for that person. You need to adopt some of the ways that this person does things.
To dream that you legs are wounded or crippled, signifies a lack of balance, autonomy, or independence in your life. You may be unable or unwilling to stand up for yourself. Perhaps you are lacking courage and refuse to make a stand. If your dream that one of your leg is shorter than the other, then it suggests that there is some imbalance in some aspect of your life. You are placing more emphasis and weight on one thing, while ignoring other important aspects that need attention as well.


FATHER

To see your father in your dream, symbolizes authority and protection. It suggests that you need to be more self-reliant. Consider also your waking relationship with your father.

(My dad was in the beginning of the dream and then disappeared.)

SINGER

To see a famous singer in your dream, represents harmony and some divine influence or vibrations. It indicates glorification of the human spirit. Consider also your general impression of this singer and how those specific qualities may be triggered by someone or some situation in your waking life.

MADONNA

To see the Madonna in your dream, symbolizes the mystical mother and the giver of life and beauty. It also signifies blessings.

(Hahaha…I know it was Madonna the singer, but I felt the need to look this up since she was being motherly towards me.)


GIRLS

To see a girl in your dream, represents your playful, innocent, and childlike nature. Perhaps you have been behaving prematurely.

BOYS

If you are female and dream that you see or are a boy, then it indicates that you are developing the masculine aspects of character. Alternatively, it may represent your feelings about a real-life boy who is important and significant to you. You may have a crush on this boy and your waking thoughts of him has carried over into the dream world. Your motherly instincts may be taking over.

DOG

To see a dog in your dream, indicate a skill that you have ignored or forgotten, but needs to be activated. Alternatively, dogs may symbolize intuition, loyalty, generosity, protection, and fidelity. Your own values and intentions will enable you to go forward in the world and succeed. If the dog is vicious and/or growling, then it signifies some inner conflict within yourself. It may indicate betrayal and untrustworthiness. If the dog is dead or dying, then it indicates a loss of a good friend. Alternatively, it represents a deterioration of your instincts. Also consider common notions associated with the word dog, such as loyalty ("man's best friend") and to be "treated like a dog".

FIELD

To see green fields in your dream, symbolizes great abundance, freedom, and happiness. You may also be going through a period of personal growth. Alternatively, this dream may simply be an expression for your love of nature.`

CAFETERIA

To dream that you are in a cafeteria, denotes that there may be a lot of issues "eating" you up inside.

(The buffet that was in the store.)


FESTIVAL

To dream that you are at festival, signifies indifference to the cold realities of life and you are acting to old before you time. You will never want, but will be largely dependent on others.

(Since I couldn’t find dog race and there were bunches of people around like it was a festival)

STORE(SHOP)

To dream of grocery or convenience store, suggests that you are emotionally and mentally strained. Alternatively, you may be brainstorming for new ideas or looking for the various choices out there for you.
