Today...

is the first day of the rest of your...haha....but really,

today is my 25th birthday! It's strange to believe that I am one-quarter of a century old.:-S

Birthday plans were fun and in fact started yesterday!

Jassen treated me to an aromatherapy facial which was quite nice and I think I made a new friend named Sam. She is a 20 year old that has been in the facial business for over 2 years now and really enjoys her line of work. Someday, she plans on opening her own salon up, so I wish her good luck!!

The facial not only included the mask and oils, etc...but also a 10 minute back massage AND hand massage. It was really nice.
I also convinced Jassen to have a facial as well, but it didnt take THAT much encouraging considering he was the one that introduced me to my first official facial last year(i believe it was)...so, after that, we went to Pizza hut and had a pizza buffet. I ate nearly 4 slices and was FULL UP!

I am born 153am central time in the states. So over in the UK, greenwich(pronounced gren-itch for some reason or another) its at 753am. Oddly enough, Jassen was born at 144 in the afternoon in the UK, but in central time, he was born 744am, so close in time in a criss-cross sort of manner(even though he is like 55 days older or so):-p

ANYWHO, after we came back home yesterday, we watched 2 episodes of star trek(since we recently got the new slim-lined versions of seasons 1&2 for the next generation), that is what we were up to! I kinda fell fast asleep during the 2nd episode, but I couldnt help it since I was pampered awesomely earlier on in the day.

For some reason, it is really hard for Jassen and I to sleep recently and it might point to the mattress that we sleep on. So, we may be investing in a pillowtop bit to make it somewhat more sleepworthy.:-S

The next morning, I woke up early again and then tried to regain my sanity by falling asleep for a few more hours. We ended up heading out at about 1130ish/12ish and got to Nando's(an awesome peri peri sauce chicken place that is portuguese in flavour) and had medium and lemon and herbs(erbs) chicken along with some chippies(fries)! It was wonderfully yummy for the both of us.*official FAN of Nando's*

After this, we tubed it on the Piccadilly line to Holborn. We were planning on hitching a ride on the central line to Tottenham Court but there was major congestion and blockage heading in that general direction so we decided to walk it from there.

1 thing I noticed today, and I swear to you, the Hare Krishna-ers were stalking us for a few hours. We would see them, going into a shop, be in there for a bit, head out, and there they were on the streets. As we started walking, the lot of them started to follow. Granted we were on opposite sides of the street, it still was a bit co-winky-dink-ish!(I have nothing against Hare Krishna ers and in fact find their chants and music quite jolly, but I know some people see them as a bit evangelistic in their ways):-p

But yea...Jassen and I needed the bathroom and wanted coffee, so we headed to the Starbucks, I got the caramel frap as usual and Jassen got a Java chip(his second try of this kind, which he enjoys). The barista didnt mix the drinks that well, so it was left in an icey end.:-S Such a waste..:-p

We then headed to Virgin Megastore and got 6 movies for a mere £32 pounds. These were:

The Wedding Crashers
Constantine
O Brother, Where Art Thou?
Kung Fu Hustle
Liar Liar
and Dancing on the Inside

The only movie that I have yet to see is the last one, so I will let you guys know about that one, when I cross that bridge.

After this, we got some refreshments cuz at this pt we were PARCHED!!

Heading in the right direction, we stopped at the Apple Store on Regent Street and laid our eyes on our first MacBook Pro. It was awesome although, Im a bit weary on the width of it, being 13.3 and the glossy bit can be a bit annoying at first glance We had a play on the black version, which is slightly more expensive, but Jassen and I were a bit more impressed with the white laptop because the smudges and fingerprints were a bit less apparent than on the black laptop.

After this, we dropped in a Godiva chocolate shop and ended up getting a chocolate coffee frozen drink that seriously made both Jassen and I feel like and wonderful.

At this pt in time, we decided to head back in the general direction of home, because one thing that I wanted was a blanket that I can walk around the house with. We headed to a linens store and got just that! And its REALLY nice and warm! We hopped on the 144 and got home around 530ish.

Later, we then ordered some foods since we were hungry yet again! Also, Jassen got me the art print "I and the Village" by Marc Chagall, since it is one of my favourite art pieces because of the stories behind it as well as an art work that I did a presentation on in my art history course my senior year of university. YAYNESS!!

OVERALL, I had a most excellent day!
Hope all is well with you all!!

x
