I can smell rain...

and almost taste it in my mouth...the wonderful humidity wrapped up in such a delight!

I feel the air cooling a bit.
I love storms...I hope its a good one tomorrow...

But then I begin to question....why is there a distinct smell to rain?
Its calming, relaxing, and seldom gets called into question...but is it just a combined smell of earth meeting the sky?
