I think Spidey wins, hands down.
Who do you think is better and why!?
Granted Spidey isnt as invinsible as Superman, personally I like his character and personality much better!
Speaking of Men of Steel, Jassen and I saw Superman Returns last night.
It was Orange Wednesday, and since it's like religion for us to attend these, we went, stuffed ourselves on sweet popcorn and downed the cooooool cold cold coke! SO GOOD!
There were a few negatives of the night.
First off, the air conditioning wasn't working in the theater.
It wasn't as bad as it may sound, but it was a bit stuffy.
Secondly, you know those stereotypically annoying and moronic members of the audience that talk, talk on their mobile/cell phones, invade your personal bubble,..those sort of people?
Well, I was the lucky one last night in regards to JUST THAT!
There was this woman and for the life of me, I hope that Karma will deal its cards accordingly....seriously!!
She was beyond rude as well as her partner.
Granted there were some people there in the auditorium, it wasn't technically a "packed house".
So, WHAT does she do?
Sit the flip next to me...and there were plenty of other free spaces...PLENTY!
She then stole my drink cup holder, in which I put Jassen and mine's stash of napkins.
She had a purse of something and of course, she slots it next to her and its poking into me(my upper leg)...I then move to the left, closer to Jassen and Im sure, as sausage at breakfast, that only made him feel a bit more hotter, since it was already humid enough.
She then proceeds to talk/laugh from beginning to end to her partner, who is also talking in a foreign language. I think he was translating for her or something. She then opened up her mobile phone, was checking her messages, etc...and AND she was taking pictures of the screen(throughout the movie).
WTF....mate?
Isnt that a bit....ILLEGAL!!!??!?!?!?! and annoying....
*sighs*
And you may alllllll be wondering, "WHy the heck did i stand for it? Why didnt i speak up and say nothing??"
Well,...
A.) I'm living in London. so I bet you close to 1/4 the population has some sort of mental disorders and there are a big handful that should be committed but their crazyfarm closed down due to lack of funding.
B.) Since this is a city environment, manners are thrown out the window.
Sure there are people that are nice about things, they exist, but the majority of people, are somewhat rude and I have no clue as to whether or not they realize this.
If I was in my hometown, I know that if I said something, it would make somewhat of a difference...there is a different mentality from that of a city and that of a town. Less people, people are a little more cognant of people around them, self-conscious, etc.
Next time, Ill just force myself to move elsewhere, but that sucks since Jassen and I like to get to our movies on time and at previews and shouldnt have to be the ones changing seats.
*sighs*
[/end rant]
But Superman Returns was an okay movie. I would rate it about a 6.3 out of 10. It could have been shorter, it was predictable, but it was similar to the original superman formula. Kevin Spacey should have had more screen time( I love him)...and the new Superman was pretty dead on to how he is suppose to be portrayed. But yea...the movie gave me a sore butt and crickity knees, so I suggest stretching beforehand.
Hope you are all keeping cool!
