Post Numba 460...

My Love--- goes out to my friend Valerie, as well as her mom and family, who lost her grandma G.G. yesterday. She had been getting progressively worse and even managed to break her hip at one point. She was then moved into a Hospice, I believe a few weeks ago. Sad to hear such news...as it reminds me a little about my grandpa's demise. I believe he has been gone since 2001, but Ive lost track of the years and I know it to be probably 5 years or so now. He also died in December...the 1st to be exact.

So, whats the deal with so many people dying around winter/holidays? Maybe its just me that notices this.:-/ Another weird thing I noticed was that the gift wrappers at work yesterday were none other than St. Anthony Hospice....strange.

*sighs*

It's 6am, just past and I am craving some food. The past few nights, Ive been quite nauseous right before bed. I dont know if its a food issue, but its kinda annoying...I felt this way as well, coming home from work, but more than likely that was a food issue. I already have plan at 7am to get up, go into the kitchen, fry up some bacon, and maybe add an egg or two into the mix with some bread. Im craving breakfast in a major way.

I sometimes feel that I am fresh-out of pictures to blog...part of me want to be random.....part not...but I look forward to piccie-ing it up with Jassen arrives...which is now in, *checks watch on computer and calculates* 158 hours or just a little over 6 days(6 days and 14 hours)....Oh yes...the countdown has been on! I believe that these next days will go fast. This is my last day off until next thursday...so I am savouring it. But I like to work, so whateva!

Sunday, we are having an employee night, so I will be making my infamous deviled eggs for the occasion and people are pumped at work! I have a feeling there is going to be alot of food. Yippie! Another cool thing is that I will already be there, as I will be closing that night, so that means less gas wasted and more money towards some christmas purchases! Ive already put a few things on hold...oh yes...;-)

This year seems to be going so fast that in fact, it will be over in a matter of 3 weeks! Dang...

Ok...let me reflect and see if I remember at least one thing from each month of the year:

2006
January----Working at Barnes and Noble, giving my 2-week notice for heading over to the UK to work on some animation I was volunteering for

February---Headed over to the UK, started working on project, cold days, saw Elbow on the 21st, I believe, at Astoria

March----Hmm, St. Patrick's day was nothing special, still working on animation project, went out into London with Raf to get inspired/get ideas for the project, took some touristy piccies

April----Jassen's Birthday on the 5th, used London pass, went to Tower of London, Tower Bridge, the Monument, London Aquarium, games place, Jassen had a walk in massage, went to the Apple Store, as well as Hamleys, had Godiva coffee(oh my heavens), also went to see the Producers with Jassen, Reuben, and his Mom, stayed at Mayfairs? which was nice. Imogen Heap? I think that was in April as well.

May---Saw Radiohead...didnt have the best time as we were close to the front and there were alot of moshers. Next time, ill be more at a distance like the first time I saw them in 2003. Had my birthday....had a facial(as well as Jassen)....started to get addicted to ebay for a bit...got alot of cool dvds.:-p

June---celebrated Salt and Pepper's 1st birthday on the 10th...switched to adult foods for them, craved Glasto(off-year), I think world cup might have been going on at this time, so there was some pub tele watching...or was that in July?

July---Really, had been working on learning Adobe Illustrator for months, but attempted some Flash, slightly. Might get back into that sometime. Got engaged on the 27th of July, while watching Star Trek:The Next Generation. Jassen probably even recalls what episode it was...something tells me it was a Riker one....just maybe.

August---Headed back to the states on the 8th, the 9th is when that London Terrorist thing happened.:-/ Started working at Barnes & Noble again by the 20th-ish, met some new people at work, getting back into the swing of things, got a planner on the 13th for the wedding, getting things in order

September---making money, paying off more loans, consolidation in effect, Jassen comes to visit 1.5 months after I left London. Ate alot of fast food. Introduced Culvers....Jassen falls head over heels with that as well as Arby's. Dad leaves for Norway.

October---Jassen heads back, prepping for Halloween, Halloween approaches, Im a faerie and Nicole is a cheerleader..Nicole ditches me a few houses in and goes back home...I continue for a total of 45mins...I then ziplock my candy and wait until Jassen comes to visit to open it(all 3.5-4 pounds worth). Found wedding dress and ordered, will arrive at the end of January.

November--Hmm, working here and there, making some cash, had a yummy thanksgiving, worked on black friday, it wasnt that bad, got alot of Christmas shopping done. Nicole finds bridesmaid dresses....Val and Nicole place orders...Karen still needs to.

December---Dad arrives home from Norway, im blogging alot more, over the past few months, me thinks, missing Jassen, a bit depressed, but Ill get over it soon. It's John Lennon's 26th anniversary of his assassination....Jupiter is in retrograde and things are a bit out of whack. Getting wedding plans sorted...a nice chunk is completed, still there is loads to do, especially when Jassen comes to visit in 6 days.

Alright...thats my recap...Im sure my blog entries tell things in greater detail. That's the beauty of it! Otherwise, this is how my mind compresses things, if not told otherwise.;-)
