Up a bit earlier...

than I need to be, as I set my alarm for 8:25 am, but I've been in and out of sleep due to my boy cat, Salt whining for food since about 5 this morning. Tonight, we plan on moving the cat litter, as well as our two kits to the living room and kitchen area of our flat and closing the door. It's not fair to be pawed, meowed at, or just frankly, disturbed whilst trying to get some shut eye.

Today is a bank holiday, or Easter Monday, here in the U.K. but once again, I am working, so I have actually 2 more holiday days left to take, and a potential 1 on top of that, until the end of April. In a couple of weeks' time, Jassen and I will have our holiday time, when we visit Ireland. I look forward to that and feel more of the excitement as the days approach.:-)

Yesterday, we weren't up to too much, just some lazying-around. We did manage, around 5 pm to get out and walk for about 20 minutes, go to a little grocery shop to grab bits, and then got some Texas Friend Chicken, which is one of our favourite places to "junk-it-out".

Anywho...I've been trialing a new route to work that gets me to work nearly 30 minutes earlier. Normally, I take a bus that takes 20+ minutes to get to a tube station and then underground-it for about 25-30, and I usually tag on and extra 15 minutes for any delays. For the most part, I would get into work 5-10 minutes before hand. With this new route, I jump on an overground, take that 5-8 minutes worth, change for the underground, ride that for more or less 20, then walk 5 minutes to work. It's definitely quicker and the first day I trialed it, I got to work in 37 minutes, on the way home, it was about 45 minutes. It's nice to get out of work around half 7, and be home close to 8 pm, but in order to do that, once i get use to the train times and when I can get there by, I will propose to my managers some revised times, so I can catch the right trains. We shall see.

The next day off is Thursday, but I wish that I had like a weekend off. I feel a bit tired and dragged down.:-/

Regardless and through it all, I do hope everyone is having a good Monday.

*hugs*
