Today is somewhat,...

an anniversary in itself. Basically, back in 2004, I decided to head to the Glasto fest and stay with Jassen and his family. Today, 4 years to date, was when I first set foot in the U.K. I was a bit nervous and kinda shy, but kinda not as well.:-) I arrived on Sir Paul McCartney's birthday, met Jassen, half asleep and exhausted, just after he tripped over a crowd of older people's bags. I saw it happen, but pretended I didn't(He knows this now).;-)

So, yea...Happy Birthday Paul! You are 66 today!!

And Happy 4-Year Anniversary of coming to the United Kingdom. Much time and experiences have taken place. To think, I met Jassen, have been to 3 Glastonbury Festivals, 1 V Festival, got 2 beautiful cats, got engaged, lived with Jassen and his folks, been to Stonehenge twice, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Dublin, Brighton, Bristol, have had 2 jobs over in the states, Movie Theater and a bookstore(Barnes&Noble), have had 4 jobs in the U.K.(Breakthrough Breast Cancer telesales, gps signal maker, junior receptionist at a barristers chambers, and the biggest bookshop in Europe), got married, got a home(flat), seen Coldplay(3 times in the UK), Elbow(4 times), Travis, Imogen Heap, Radiohead, Guster, Sigur Ros, and a few others, travelled nearly all of the piccadilly stops(jumped off and on rotation took pics with Jassen), with the exception of 4/5 stations..But, If you look between the cracks of these experiences, there are many other's in an out of their shadows.

There are many more experiences to happen and I look forward to it all....well, not so much the bad stuff, but it will get me to the good stuff.

I feel an underground trip on the horizon. Maybe get the remaining stations on the piccadilly and work on the circle line. So many lines to choose!!
