Big news on Wednesday...

in my hometown of Portage, Indiana. As I was talking to my dad who is on an island next to Aruba gigging, he told me that Barack Obama came through Portage and stopped. He was hungry and stopped at Schoops, a burger joint that might be a small chain, not too sure. If I was back in my hometown at the time, I would have suggested Culvers. Anywho, he left with 4 burgers!!:-p

I do miss home a lot, the quietness and how serene it can be....the sound and the lull of a slow train on the tracks behind my house..... parents bicycling with their little ones.....
