Why Hello...

little bloggie!

It's been a bit of time, but I have been writing here and there in my own personal journals that I carry around with me whilst commuting back and forth from work. Also have come up with an idea for a potential book.:-p I need to stick with this, see it through, since often times I leave things to the wayside.*annoying*

I also want to do some fun/inspiring things. At the moment, I feel the rutty-ness of life, but I do see the light. I think next year, Jassen and I will do a bit more traveling in the UK as well as Europe.:-)

I was thinking a bit, inspired by Jassen's line of thinking, but don't you feel that, at the moment, there is a bit of a "calm before the storm" action going on? I mean, with the whole stock market deal and the question of "why?" things like this are happening? If any one can honestly clarify, let me know! I mean, if American and now British tax moneys are going into the stock market(which is a risk), what happens if things go bust? Do we not find ourselves in a worse situation? Confused.

Last week This American Life did a great podcast about the economy (365: Another Frightening Show About the Economy). Check it out if you can find it. :)

Also, have you thought about doing NaNoWriMo (www.nanowrimo.org)? Dude! Write your novel!

Hi Jen....It seems that the 'calm' is gradually being replaced by a distant rumble...of something that's approaching..but what the heck that is, very few seem to know or seriously care about. We're still happily frolicking in our small bubbles, hoping against hope that nothing serious will wake us up but...
The attrition rates have come down drastically in our IT circles, because new jobs have just dried the hell up. Many people I know have lost handsomely in the recent crash. Never gave a thought that so much of our modern life stands on the economy. That fancy number in my bank pass book...it could be an illusion.

But Jen, amidst all the lull before the storm, I sense a new dawn, the beginning of a new era... of something incredibly beautiful :-)
How're you? How's Jassen? And the kittens?

Val---I'll have to check out this podcast you speak of. Haha...as for my novel, I think I am going to go in a little different of a direction when it comes to this book I am in process of writing.;-) Hope things are alright and I look forward to the possibility of seeing you at the tail end of the year.:-)

Vishwa---Yea, I really wish things would be a bit more clear and explained. Money is hypothetical if we don't see it.

At the moment, I have a weird flu thing going on. I feel achy in my upper back, slightly congested with a numbing headache, a bit nauseous, and the sensation of crawling out of my skin. I went home half way through work yesterday and will give a call today letting them know I'm still not feeling great.:-S Otherwise, I would be alright, me thinks. Jassen is good, a bit tired, and he too fells slightly sickly. He managed to win a prize package for Dido, so I hope we are both in top form sooner than later.

Salty and Peps are good and chilling on their cat tree. They love looking outside and seeing what's going on.:-)
