draws to a close, I sit and reflect on how much stuff was going on!
So much planning, some working, some MORE planning, and the getting of wedding-ish things.
There is much more to do and a little ways to go, but so far, things are coming together QUITE nicely!
Still need to find Julianne a dress that would somewhat match the one I will sport.
I am also in two minds about Little Billy's Ringbearer tux.
Should I have him match Jassen? with the pink vest and 4-hand tie?
-----or------
Should he match the rest of the groomsmen with the Claret(which goes with the bridesmaids?
I am starting to think the latter of the two for him...we shall see!
I am also on a mad hunt for a particular flowergirl dress, but it seems to be discontinued.
It is a part of the Ladybug Collection flowergirl dresses LB-1010 and it would match my dress wonderfully....so, wish us luck as we try and hunt it down.:-/
With less than 9 days left before I hop on a plane and jump across the Atlantic, I hope that this dress or any fitting dress for the occassion will be found.
I went to the place where the groom/smen tuxedos will be ordered and reordered Jassen's as to match with the rest of the gang. He likes that style much better! Also, the pink that was wanting, a "petal pink" is discontinued until April, so wish us luck on getting that! If that is a no-go, then we will go with a blush, that somewhat reflects the different colours around.
I got all of my bridesmaids gifties and the majority of Julianne's. I know its like 5 months in advanced...I just like to be ready and prepared.:-S I will be sending out the STD cards(Save the Date) right before I leave, so I am in need of like 10 addresses from my folks, so everyone will get them! This is really on just this side of the Atlantic. When I come back from the UK, I will work on, with another lady that my mom works with, on the wedding invites, ship those out. There will also be another set for the UK that will be sent out as well.
SOOO MUCH TOOOO DOOOO!!!
Ah well..
it's fun.

Monday, January 29, 2007
Well, I guess...
it's MONDAY!!!

This was probably after my hair trimmage. Note the dark circles around my eyes.:-/
Time's a-flyin'.
Have a few things to address, like calling the Reverend to let him know that for sure we got the VU Chapel for the wedding, ask him when we can meet up again to iron out details/rehearsal(since we have it for the friday before for an hour)....I will probably also head over to where Jassen and his groomsmen will be getting their tuxedos from.....let them know that Jassen wants to have the same tux as the rest of the guys and pick out the colour to match me, since I have the"swatch" of my dress to do so.
Also, I will be putting peeps' down-payments in April time, along with Lil Billy getting measured for his ring bearer tuxedo.:-p
I've been trying to play sleep catch-up. Accomplished that a little....but still gotten woken up. It was nearly 1230pm when I woke up, so I guess I will have to continue sleeping tonight.
Seriously...I just want to chillz today, but I will be exercising semi-soon. I havent since like Friday or Saturday. My aim is to exercise 3-4 times a week. I am already at 37+ minutes on the elliptical each time, today I will increase it to something like 38:30, so that for tuesday or wednesday I'll hit my goal of 40 mins by this wednesday. Next wednesday will be 45 mins and this is the time I will stick with.:-p
Yesterday, worked 8 hours at the Barnes. Shellie, who was the old assistant manager the first time I came into work for B&N, is back since she didnt like the commute to and from Chicago all the time with her own store. She is a funny person to work with...highly entertaining. Surprisingly, the time did seem to fly, with all the winter action that was happening outside. Seemingly, God wanted to have a one-sided snowball fight with us, cuz that's what it looked like. It got so bad, that my dad called me up at work and said that if I needed being picked up later on, that that would be done. I really didn't think that the roads would stay that bad......and just be alot of slush...which ended up being the case.
I am just kinda half thinking.....I have 4 more working days at work...and that is bit sad. I've been told that if needed(PLZ), they will use me when I come back in April-May time. I'm a good worker---not to sound too snooty, but it's true! I like my job and it reflects. Next I work will be Wednesday, then again on Saturday. Such big gaps in-between working, but on the other hand, it's nice to get wedding things sorted and not feel so pressured.:-/
Probably, I should grab a bit of breakfast. Had a strange dream about eating cheese.:-S That's all I got.
Peace.

I Have...
a bit of a headache....probably due to the fact that I havent been getting much well-deserved rest.
Took some medicine for it, so hopefully that will be kicking in any time soon!
Today, have a bit of things to do!
I need to deposit a work check/cheque. Oh, and last night I let them know of my leaving(Da Barnes that is). I still need to talk with Stephanie(the new manager) to see whether or not they will leave me on as employee as so I could work a little when I get back. Sad to go...and it does feel like an end of a particular era, yet again.
I need to get into contact with Sheila and Julie as so I can confirm that 2pm meetup at the Barnes is kosher. I still need to ask my mom if we can get my wedding dress earlier on in the day, get that taken care of, and then soon, we will be arranging a veil to be made for it, since she knows someone who does that! Anywho, there are at least 2 shops that will be traveled to for the flowergirl dresses, so I hope that that works out!
Wedding is MAJORLY on the brain....so much to do!
So, here are the flowers that I want for the tables at the reception.

And here is me, before my haircut with Cindy! I kinda look kid-ish!:-S

Let the Glastonbury Rumours...
BEGIN!
Okay....rumour number 1, which I hope is true is that Bjork is to play...
another rumour is THE WHO playing...
and yet another rumour of reforms are The Smashing Pumpkins, Genesis, AND the Police....
Arctic Monkeys might also perform...John Fogerty....and a few other rumours that Im quite sure will be piled right on!
I do believe that this year will be QUITE the year....plus, this Glastonbury festival really will be Jassen and mine's 3 year anniversary adventure.
Can't wait!
:-)
PS...Apppaaarrrently, the Red Hot Chili Peppers wanted to play Glasto but the higher ups said no....even though they offered to play for FREE!!! I think there is a certain demographic the Glastonbury providers are aiming at.

I just wanna say...
that i received my neko kitties for the cake/decor in the post yesterday.
They are UBERLY cute! Love it! Probably will be getting more lanterns for decorations in the near future.
Im also excited that I am getting a hair trimmage today from Cindy(who will be doing my hair for the wedding as well!) Maybe we will mess around with hair ideas soon. My hair is growing so I look forward to the longer potential curls!:-)
Saturday, I will be meeting up with Sheila and Julie for flowergirl dress shopping, so I am getting together potential places to travel to.:-p
That is all.

Happy 500th post...
yippie!

Today, before even the buttcrack of dawn, my dad, mom, and I were OFF to Chicago for my dad's surgery. Needless to say, its been a long assed day! Here are some pictures.

Here is a picture of my mom, waiting for the doctor to give the okay to leave after the surgery.

Here is my dad having some ice, coming out of the surgery.

Random picture of myself....

and picture I took on the way back from the hospital in which my camera moved accidentally...

I am having...
SUCH a coffee withdrawl headache...didnt have any today and my body can feel the affects. No more pop for a while, says I.
So, come to find out, the reception hall for the wedding has a hidden bar....Here are some pics.

The first is the entrance from the lounge area. There is another entrance and that would be to the left of the next picture.

and another angle, just cuz. I really like that the bar is lower to the ground than high up. Makes it more comfortable.

I think that this will be a nice little escape from things for other people. ALSO, I found out today, with my very own eyes that they redecorated the hall, and it is no longer gray...but a nice brick color as well as curtains. Should have taken pics but its alright. Another thing to consider is that the doors will be open since its summertime in July so lots of movability for folks. I like that.:-)

Back to...
my PRE-Christmas weight....of 160....
which is about 25.4 BMI(Body Mass Index).....since my height is 5 foot and 6.5 inches.
I am still considered SLIGHTLY overweight, so with just a matter of 5 pounds, I will be considered in the healthy range, which doesnt seem too far off.
I am very critical of my weight cuz I still remember the days....aka 7 years ago, I was sitting pretty at 125....I think I was about 5'5''-5'6'' at the time too. Like I said, my goal is to be 155 by the time February 9 rolls around, so that gives me less than 3 weeks to lose 5 more pounds. It can be done. I am watching what im eating for the most part, exercising, and all that jazz.
After Feb 9th....my goal over the next 5 months is to lose the remaining 15 pounds to get to 140. It can be done! I'll do it!'':-)

Jassen and I

will be receiving these shortly in the post!
Just ordered them on Ebay today so I look forward to their arrival.
They are Japanese luck cats....known as Neko.
The raised left and right paws mean different things. For instance, the left means luck in love, and the right is luck in fortune. Im sure there are many other different meanings as well, but I like that particular one!
Part of me thinks that they would look great on top of the top cakes that arent apart of the 3 main stacked ones. If not, they will be placed near or in front of those cakes!
YIPPIE!!

Sleeping..
but not really....
Im a poser.
:-p
And randomness at its best...
im feeling bit pukey at the moment...have been for a few days.....and no, not preggers...quite the opposite...TMI? maybe
Here are some pictures from a recent trip out to Chicago for my dad's prep-appt for his back and shoulder surgery this coming tuesday.
And here is a test...it was a test, set up by me. I flicked a price sticker in the middle of this hallway in Chicago, waiting to see how long it would take for someone to step on it. It took MINUTES and when a gentleman rushed over it....it didnt stick.:-/
And let me tell you a mini story about this bag hanging on the door. It shall be dubbed "mystery bag" as we, as in my family had no idea what the doctor was putting in it. This dude would come out of that door every once in a while, look around, and then SHOVE stuff into the bag, as if worried if people would freak if they saw what was in his hands. It was quite strange.:-/
and here is a picture of the inside of Jassen and I's possible wedding night suite! When you first walk in, there is a bathroom, with sinks and toilet, you get into the room and there is that nice big comfy looking tempura bed as well as table area next to, and then if you continue into another room, there is a jaccuzi equipped with a tv AND fireplace....free champagne and a $50 certificate to a place called LongHorn SteakHouse. NUMMY! So, this place is a possibility after the wedding reception in July.
TV and Fireplace...
Rubba Tubba for the Lova!;-)
And here is the old Valparaiso CourtHouse used back in the day. I remember taking a tour with one of my classes in High School. We sat in on a traffic violation that was in session. I really dont remember much as this was back in 98/99.
And here is a picture of the sunsetting as Northwest Indiana was getting some well deserved snow! And yep, its still on the ground as I type this.
The Cake...
dude was here tonight...
Had a bit of cake...it was rich...the guy's coincidentally is also named Rich.
Suiting.
Here are a few pictures of the cake that we sampled. It was a white/chocolate cake with strawberry filling and buttercream frosting. We wanted to try the cake with raspberry, so he will bring another one in the next week or so.

And an inside peek. It got a little messy after a while.:-/

And last but not least, the design for the cake that will be the official wedding cake. The top tier is the anniversary cake for Jassen and I. This one will be for Jassen and I alone. All the rest are for the guests. It will be white, with oriental looking flowers and wood, ribbon on the bottom of each cake and simplistic designs....wispy! The double happiness symbol will also grace the top of the cake.:-)

Spiralz
Spiraling downward,
am I spiraling upward
a consciousness still left to be tapped into
reality
it's fleeting
and still
my heart
it's beating
craving for another day
just another day
and another day
and
All the wonders
are filled with whys
What is life?
What is it to die?
And forever questions bring
answers
far
few
and in between

Sparks...
Coldplay----
Did I drive you away?
I know what you'll say
You say, Oh, sing one we know
But I promise you this
I'll always look out for you
That's what I'll do
I say oh
I say oh
My heart is yours
It's you that I hold on to
That's what I do
And I know I was wrong
But I won't let you down
(Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, yeah I will, yes I will¦)
I say oh
I cry oh
Yeah I saw sparks
Yeah I saw sparks
And I saw sparks
Yeah I saw sparks
Sing it out
La, la, la, la, oh!
La, la, la, la, oh!
La, la, la, la, oh!
La, la, la, la, oh!
*This song will most probably be Jassen & I's first dance*

Starting to get...
a bit hungry!
Really, I should head to bed, but I will get some more reading in of THE SECRET by Rhonda Bryne in, since I do have it on 2 week loan from the Barnes! I really dont want to have it more than a week....on day 3 today.:-/
The concept of it deals with Laws of ATTRACTION, so I am focusing my energy, cuz I wanting the $100,000 prize from Visa. There are 10 of those being given out, and who more deserving than me!!!
Exercised today to the sounds of Seal IV for 30:17 minutes, over 280 calories burnt, and 8.0miles!
I do believe I am getting most excellent at this exercising thing!
My goal is to get to 45 mins by February.
I use to be at that level a few years back.
Well, hope all is well with you guys and gals!!

Bears WON!
against the Seattle Seahawks.
27 to 24
This was the same score as the Eagles vs New Orleans game last night.
They went into over time and won by Robbie Gould kicking a 49yard field goal.
THANK GOD!
Next week, they are playing against New Orleans and since they have homefield advantage throughout the playoffs, it will be in Chicago. New Orleans do have a solid team, so lets hope the weather is formidable and give us more of that homecourt advantage. A little "Bears Weather" is in order!
I am PUMPED and even teared up that they won their divisional and as they are apart of the 4 remaining teams left this year.
So....Patriots and Chargers will be playing today and the winner of that(probably the Chargers) will then play Indy.
If the Bears, by some freak chance are fortunate to get a win next Sunday, they will then play the winner of the potential Chargers/Indy game. Dear god...:-S
I didnt exercise yesterday before heading off to work, but I will make up for that in a short while, today.
Julie also might have found her headpiece for her theoretical flowergirl dress...
here is a pic.

Btw, GO BEARS!
Im excited...;-)

Today's choice music...
whilst exercising...
Doves--The Last Broadcast...
Yesterdays...
Coldplay--Parachutes
I started back on the elliptical machine last wednesday, the 3rd of January.
Started at 20 minutes.....and today, I am at 27:55, which equates to 248 calories, and 6.8 miles.
Back in the day, I was up to 45 minutes, so this is my goal by the end of the month.:-p Increase weekly, daily-ish.
My goal was to exercise everyday, but since I had the stomach flu on saturday, sunday, and monday, I missed out on 2 days...
Since, the 3rd....I've lost over 3 pounds.....my aim to be 155 by February 9th.
Tomorrow, I fast until 5 and then I will reintroduce myself to foods by my homemade smoothies...and a small dinner to follow later....While fasting, it releases toxins, buildups in ones body, so I would assume that had a hand in me being sickly soon after....I am hoping that this will be less the case this time around.:-p
Got an awesome birthday gift on the way for Jassen, even though his birthday isnt until April....super excited!!
Alright...have a wonderful day, night, evening, morning, youz!

In todays update..
my dad hurt himself....pretty bad.....and has ripped tendons*sp in his back and shoulder area and is needing surgery.
He is trying to hook up with the sports doctor for the Chicago Bulls and White Sox.....and I think will be missing out on the NAMM show in California(Musicians event) this year....which sucks.
He is unsure about his trip out to Norway as of yet, but we will see what will happen over the coming weeks and if he can get into surgery and start on the path of recovery.:-S
I will be heading out to Chicago next wednesday with my dad to meet up with the docs to see what the dealio will be.
In other news, I am getting bridesmaid gifts in order, so that makes me happy, I might have found Jassen's birthday gift, if I can get a handle on it...
Also, My mom and I will probably be meeting with the caterers to discuss details on the 15th, menu, etc and so on...
My mom also is going to call the cake peeps today and schedule something with them...On tuesday, the 16th, I will make every attempt to book VU Chapel of the Resurrection for the wedding, so wish me luck on that! As that is a first come first serve deal....
They probably wont play the music that I would like for down the aisle, but things will work out.
Wednesday, I work....I will possibly be meeting up with Sheila and Julianne to research and try on more flowergirl dresses...I need to call up the bridal shop and ask them if my dress is still scheduled for the 27th of January to come in...I will get the colour off the dress of the flower to match with Jassen on his vestie and tie bits on his outfit...once that is sorted, that can be set up to be ordered and come in before the wedding....as well as the groomsmen, once I have the correct measurements and deposits, and Billy will need to be measured as well for his matching groom, ringbearer outfit....
There is ALOT going on...but I am confident that things will be sorted for the most part before I leave for the UK and then I can help on focusing on the preparations for the UK Reception, my Spousal visa, ask questions on the marriage licence that will need to be obtained for the wedding....I will have to ask plenty more questions...like how long it takes to file....on the monday...then schedule the visa appt in Chicago for that tuesday after the wedding, get my visa, be on my way possibly on that wednesday back to the UK, my new home with my hubbie.:-)
Crazy...
starting to feel my age a little...
not too much, cuz Im too much of a kid at heart.:-p
He is trying to hook up with the sports doctor for the Chicago Bulls and White Sox.....and I think will be missing out on the NAMM show in California(Musicians event) this year....which sucks.

Cowabunga...
dudes.
I was a hardcore Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan when I was young.
I was even apart of the fan club.
Got piccies somewhere to prove it...and video as well!
But for now, just enjoy the trailer of the new and upcoming movie, set to release March 23rd of this year.

Glastonbury Update!
They are doing a new pre-sale registration thing, which I think is rather brilliant on their part!
With it, you will register not only your contact information, but send in passport photos that will be printed ON your tickets(in February), if you are so fortunate to get them on April 1st of this year.
Also, rumoured to be at Glasto is *speak of the devil* Smashing Pumpkins, but the official line-up will only be announced 2 months after tickets are purchased, on June 1st in Q magazine. I am uber excited about this year, since it was an off-year in 2006.
I cant believe that 2006 is over.:-/
But, I am liking 2007 so far...I love odd years.....:-p

I have...
the stomach flu.
I went home about an hour early from work yesterday at 3, but I had been feeling sick since right after lunch(which was at around 11-1130am).
I should have realized that when I was having deep sleep the past few days, that it would lead to this.
*sighs*
I think the fasting brought out those toxins that had been feistering at the surface.
Sadly, I was unable to exercise, due to the fact that I might throw up, so that made me a bit sad that I couldnt stick with the exercise I wanted to do everyday.
ARGH!
VU just called, since I left a message to have an appointment to book a spot for Jassen and I's wedding. Hopefully they leave a message saying that its kosher for the 15th. If not, Ill just call them back shortly.
Hope all is well!
*Do de do de dooo*
Update---Called VU...they ARENT accepting appointments and it's a first-come, first-serve deal and its the 16th that they are going to be accepting on, not the 15th like I once thought. I was trying to switch my days at work, so hopefully that didnt work out. If so, the day was probably just given away and hopefully it can be made up the following week.:-/

Bring back..
the PUMPKINS!
Smashing, that is...
SMashing PuMpKins
In 2003, I actually made a fake radio ad for the smashing pumpkins to tour with the Stone Temple Pilots(my 2 favourite bands of the early 2000s). Ill have to post it up sometime...it's rather goofy and my nose sounds so nasally to moi!:-S

It feels like...
a friday, not a Saturday.
I remember I use to rivel in the notion of the weekend. Now, working at the Barnes, I lose that sense of "everybody's working for the weekend", cuz its quite the contrary.
Things will change though, once Im settled, married, and living it up in London on a permenant basis with Jassen and my kitties. That's when I will find a job and have something parallel to a 9-5 with weekends free. I like working, IF I enjoy the job.
Oh.....exercise music for today was:
Elbow-Asleep in the Back
Im doing well on the exercise front, Day 4 in a row, and I plan to not take any days off when it comes to the elliptical machine. I am already noticing a difference in my energy for the day.;-)
And as for the fasting that I did on Friday, I didnt end up having anything besides 2+ liters of water, and then reintroduced myself to foods somewhat with a strawberry and banana smoothie at 6pm. I then went out with Nicole to a Chinese buffet and had some chickeny things, which were uber nice and tasty!! I did feel that I had more energy while on the fast as well as lighter, etc...so, yes, I will fast again on the 12th, 19th, and hopefully the 26th.:-)
Working tomorrow....then Ill come home, eatz, and exercise.
Monday is a no workie day, so I will try to get ahold of the caterers for an appointment, encourage my dad to find a dj for the wedding reception, and ask my mom what is up with trialing some cake that will be for the wedding.
Still need to meet up with Julianne and Sheila in regards to Julie's dress as well as Billy's tuxedo, an the groomsmen deposits, etc, get the save-the-date cards out, and so on.

Hot Chip...
--The Warning it is.
That was yesterday's Choice Music for exercising
and today...
was Divine Comedy-Absent Friends.
I'm in the process of putting my cds on my mac. If I was mad, and wanted to jam pack my mac, I could put up to 7,000 songs. Of course, I won't do that, but at the moment, its around 1,000. I use to buy a few cds a week back in the day. I was obsessed with getting cds....Im glad that phase passed. I remember spending over 300 bucks in cds and cases in one day about 3-4 years ago. I walked into Coconuts(now its closed). But I arrived 3 minutes to close. I had the intention of spending 100 bucks. The manager was closing the doors early and he said that they were closed. I then said to him, 'What if I spend 100 bucks if you give me 5 minutes?'
And he opened the door without saying a word, I felt like VIP, and I ended up spending about 96 bucks in 5 minutes on cds and two 200 cd holder(which yesterday I just gave to my sister, since im trying to compile and downsize.
See, im a stickler when it comes to the collection of things. I just recently made a collection up to number 34 of the Boxcar Children Series. I was missing 3 of them and Jassen helped me out on that.:-p Gertrude Chandler Warner died after she wrote the 17th book, so really I have the complete collection, plus 18 more, which were written by ghostriders. I believe that number 105 just came out earlier this year, so yea...Im happy with my 35.:-p
Also, I was an obsessed-freako with the Beatles from 1995 to about 2000 and during that frame of time and beyond, I had recorded over 50(6 hour) VHS tapes of stuff from the TV that was in the slightest way Beatle related to movies on PBS.
At the moment, I am fasting today along with my sister. I havent had anything to eat since 1145pm last night at TJ Maloneys and I don't plan to eat until 5pm. This is to give my body a little break, burn a little excess body fat, which I have in my middle section. Of course I am downing the water, so Im probably on my 6th glass since this morning to flush out the toxins, etc. I probably need another glass in short order. In actuality, it is healthy to fast once a month, but western civilization has yet to realize this.
I am on day 3 of exercising on the elliptical machine and some pilates, eating smaller meals.
I ended up gaining 5 pounds over Christmas after I had managed to get to 160.
I know I dont look like i gained 5 pounds, but thats a good sign that it will be easier to get back to that point.
My goal is to be 155 by early February.
Totally possible.
I will see how this fasting pans out this week and if it results in a positive way, I will fast once a week in January, so 3 more times. And Actually, I feel a bit more alert at the moment, with the lack of having to process food, so that's a good sign. I'm NOT going to become anorexic from this fasting, so don't you worry my little chickadees!

Do ya ever..
wake up earlier than your alarm clock, say by an hour, and you TRY your darnedest to fall back asleep, but it's a lost cause?
Yea....that was me.
Starting yesterday, I was back on a regime, a schedule, in order to lose NOT only my Christmas weight of 5 pounds, but 5 more pounds on top of that!
So far, I am cutting out the majority of my sugars, breads, and watching what I put in my mouth, like potatoes, starches, etc. and drinking at least 5 glasses of water a day.
I am also doing Pilates for 10-15 minutes a day as well as 20 minutes on the elliptical machine whilst listening to choice music.
Yesterday was Bob Marley and the Wailers. Today will be something else...Ill let you guys know.

Here's a dose of...
randomness....
There was a huge Star of David on the side the road.
This was St. Maarten, in the Carribean spring of 2003.
We walked in this shack, just out of curiousity...
and in it, my dad and I found god...and some coca cola.
Well, not THE god, but conversations and concepts and philosophies of.
Although I dont remember the conversations that went on, I somewhat felt that we had fallen upon some sort of prophet, a seeing eye.
He is the gentleman off to the left....kinda reminds me of my grandpa, my mom's dad.
Enlightening days....I love those.

And now, that time has come...
and gone....and so has Jassen...back to the UK.
*cue sad face*
I try not to cry when we part, but I can't help it. I mean, I know that I will be seeing him again soon, but the heartache of it all, my tear ducts can't process it.
Here are some piccies...
We headed out to KFC this early afternoon. I had a snacker meal and Jassen had a Big Sammich which was a bit more peppery than my deal...but still tasted nice. I rather enjoyed the potato wedges.:-) Nicely seasoned. That was our first meal of the day...and now, I am munching on some reindeer food aka peppermint malt balls. It was a giftie from Karie and Nathaniel and I quite like em!;-)
Yesterday, we made a trip out to Merrillville and ended up getting me a new wintery coat, which I really like. It's sleek and stylish and a bit British, If I dont mind adding in.:-pIMO We then headed over to the Mall area, walked about, found better wedding rings(It's white gold, but the background its on makes it a bit misleading), which will be ordered probably in April/May time,
shared a plate of Japanese food, Bourbon Chicken, rice, and a pork eggroll,
had a gloria jean's cookies and creme frap for 1/2 price and ventured into Borders(the new one across the street from Barnes), which I really wasnt impressed(maybe im biased!:-p)
Tonight, I am hoping to have some sort of nice meal with my family, order wedding favours for the reception as well as a cake topper and decorations. Ive been wanting to order these things for close to 2 months, so here's to hoping that that can be accomplished tonight.
Other things that I would like to accomplish tonight is more straightening up... Ive been cleaning and sorting through my book collection and have put ones that I can part with in a box for giveaway. I will give my sister and friends the chance to look through it to see if there are any keepers. After that, I will take it to work and see if anyone is wanting them. Then after that, I think it will head to Goodwill along with clothes(that I hope to sort through tonight as well). I really want to downsize things for portability when that time comes. I mean, I am in the process of transporting things, but I have kinda alot to deal with....things like clothing, books, dvds, toys, and blankets. Beyond that, there is really nothing else worth bringing over.
My mom and I really need to plan on meeting up with the Caterers for the wedding as well as what kinda cake for the reception, more decorations, save the date cards, and I need to work on getting appropriate wedding invites to be sent out 6 weeks prior to the wedding. I cant leave out the people in the UK, even if they are unable to come to the US wedding, so that will be sorted when I visit the UK next.
Nicole and Valerie have picked up their bridesmaid dresses already, since they came in like 3 MONTHS EARLY and tomorrow, I will be heading out with Karen to pick up hers. The only thing left for the girls is getting shoes, and ordering the appropriate necklace and earrings(which will be gifts from moi), and coordinating makeup, if poss.
I will also be trekking out with Sheila and Julianne for THE flowergirl dress, soon and I will probably be putting down deposits for the guy's tuxedos once I have the correct measurements, and Billy(the ringbearer) getting his suit ordered as well...and Since Jassen is having his groomsmen get tuxedos from the same place, Jassen's tux shall be free, which is nifty!
My wedding dress will be coming in at the end of January, so Im very much looking forward to that! I was given a $100 coupon towards shoes, purse, etc at the place I ordered my dress, so I will have a field day when I get to do that.
So much to do, so much to say.;-)
Anywho....Hope your 2007 is going grand!!

Happy New Year!!

For those of you already into 2007 and for those of you that will be over the course of a few hours.
I am not a big party-hearty kinda gal, so most probably will be in bed by 1230/1am.:-p Although, I DID get a bottle of Bailey's from Jassen for Christmas and really want to just drink it around him(not by my lonesome), so I only have a matter of a few more days, so that shall be the choice drink of the night.
One resolution for me this next year is to blog more often and in more detail. Trust there to be alot more pictures posted in order to give more of a visual on things.:-)
Once again...Happy New Year's to all and may some resolutions be kept.
