I awake?
foodwise and drink wise...I was done at 6pm...the time is now 310....am....and im awake.
WTF...mate?
The sucky part is that I work at 9.
If I can get in about 4 hours worth of sleep, that should suffice for the time being.
I started reading the Magicians Son...the first book from the Chronicles of Narnia...so, we shall see how that goes. If I like it enough, I may read the whole series.:-p
Hope all is well with you guys!

Friday/Saturday...
Real quickly and a bit random...here is another picture of the day in which a tornado was reported a city away.:-/But yea...
Friday night, Nicole and I visited a friend that we havent seen in YEARS!!
My sister and I decided to randomly arrive on Karen's doorstep.
We did and talked about a day that would be better to hang out on.
Well, all of a sudden, Karen was like....COME ON IN...but you can only stay an hour and then you guys have to kick yourself out, as so she could study for her classes. It then got the point when Karen said...heck, let's just hang out now. So, her lovely boyfriend went for a beer run, and came back with some coronas. I had two, with lime and salt around the bottle neck. DELICIOUS!
Less than a few hours later, we realize that more alcohol was needed, so Nicole and Karen ran out to Walmart for more beverages as Pete and I(Pete is Karen's boo) talked about England, Culture, accents, and Star Trek....:-p
I then had a beverage called Blue Moon with Oranges, but wasnt that impressed with it, plus the ice in it watered it down cuz I wasnt drinking fast enough at that pt.:-/ My sister and I ended up staying close to 445 in the morning, but it was a blast catching up on old times and new times.:-)
Here are some pictures of Friday Nights/Saturday Mornings events:
Disclaimer....we were a bit drunk. HA!

Here is Pete and Karen as we sat outside in her backyard. I have one other pic of my sister, but for some reason or another, it is not wanting to be edited, so Ill have to figure out why.
And moving on to Saturday, after only 2.5 hours of sleep....
Here is me snapping a shot from the backseat of my sister and mom, as we drove to Merrillville in order for Nicole to try on a bridesmaid dress and where I found my wedding gown(most probably)...Still keeping my options open but might have a winner already!:-p

A Tribute to Val...

Recently, Ive been working miracles in the kitchen.
Since Ive come home from the UK, Ive making everything from steak to sauted shrimp to chicken and dumplings!
Tonight, I reheated the dumplings and chicken, steamed some cut green beans AND the best part of the meal:
Texas Crispers....my friend Val was the first to introduce these to me, and I love them..ESPECIALLY with mayo.
So, in tribute....above is a pic of the meal I've prepared for my mom and I.
It's friday, again...
I wonder how many friday's I have experienced??
I should count sometime...
I was just waiting for Jassen to get on msn or ichat, from work, so I decided to start a blog entry.
But it took forever for me to log in, dont know why, but here I am now...
My sister is suppose to come visit today from Indy and I havent seen her in just about 7 months, so it will be nice to see her. I know she is at an interview for an airline, so maybe that might prove fruitful. I guess if you work for the airline, not only do you get free airfare, but your immediate family as well. Jassen would be considered a buddy and it would work via the buddy system until we are married, so part of me hopes that Nicole gets this job, cuz that would mean not having to pay for tickets. And that would save me like....$2000 or so next year alone. We shall see.:-p
I think I am going to make a coffee or tea now. I need a little perk. I did about 20 mins or so of Dance Dance Revolution and I was sweating my back off!! Highly recommended.
Tomorrow, hopefully if Nicole is around, we will go to David's Bridals, have her try on the bridesmaid dress that I posted a while back and maybe start looking for my dress as well.;-)

Storms were a-brewin'!!
Apparently, there were tornadoes tonight just a city away.
Eek!!
Here are some pictures from the evening.
I went over to an old friends house, Mary, that I havent seen in 2.5-3 years!!
It was nice to get back in touch and in the future, we have plans in going to a local thai food place or indian restaurant.
I look forward to that!!
The second pic is a picture of Mary, out in the storm!
The wind was picking up then.
Mucho exciting-oh!!
The first and third are pictures of the swirling sky.
ALOT of action going on!!
I made a mini-video of it, so maybe I will get it to youtube eventually!!;-)

So,...yea..

I highlighted my hair yesterday, so here is a little parade brought to you in part by Cindy(who did the highlighting for me!)
Shimmery!!;-)

This is me trying to be cute...but this is before I did anything with my hair..notice how the highlights are! I like it and Cindy did a good job!!

Smirking....cuz i can.:-p
1 month...
and counting....until Jassen visits...
Let the good times roll, yo!
I'm looking forward to working a few hours this coming weekend.
I am also looking forward to going to some bridal shops and having Nicole(maybe Val if she is around) try on the bridal dress that I would love for them to wear. If they look good, then I will somehow have to get the measurements for Niamh, and maybe somehow have her fitted for it, either by transporting a dress, having it sized, if need be, etc....Im not sure how that works, but all will be figured. As for my flower girl, there is the idea that she might be dressed in white like a bride, and then have a sash or something to match my "future" lilac-coloured dress. Im all for it, especially if everyone is comfortable in their outfits!
*sighs*
Alrightee...I think I am going to be finishing my soy/soya milk up and then head for bed. I like sleep, but my dreams, sometimes I feel like I can do without.
Goodnight all....:-)

Dear Ada,
You are awesome my friend!!
Thanks so much for the photographs via the post.
I decided to take a picture of a picture of my favourite one out of the 3.
I will have to find and get those piccies we took at the last meetup up here, but I think Jassen needs to re-yousendit, and all will be well.
THANKS AGAIN!!!
*HUGS*
From Left to Right---->Moi, Jassen, Tez, and Ada!(Iain is snapping the photograph!) We were watching England battle it out again....i think it might have been equador or portugal...I dont quite remember the opponent!:-p Somebody refresh me...:-p

Yacht Clubbie
This section of the reception hall is on the right hand side. This is for the dj/dancing area.
This is the outside view where there is a porch. We will have the doors open so this is much more accessible.
Here is the outside part of the reception hall, the lobby, and its rather quaint, which i like!
Here is more of the reception hall, the middle and left section. There were other walls and such but I really didnt want to hassle in getting the pics.
And most importantly...this is the bar area...HAHAHA!!;-)
First Day BACK!!
w00t!!
I'm BACK in the saddle!
Well, the working saddle. I had my first day back at the Barnes. It makes me so happy all over that I get to work there after my hiatus!! One of my co-workers, Andrew, it was his first day back after the summer, so we both thought that was a bit weird that both disappeared and then reappeared. POOF!!
Alrightee..IM going to chill the rest of the evening and tomorrow, my mom and I will be heading over to the Yacht Club..I will take pictures for you guys!!
Here are some pictures of the gazebo for the wedding!!
:-p

Friiiiiiday!!!
w00t!!!
Tomorrow is my first day back at Barnes & Noble and I am nervous/excited!!
I'm going to head in a little early cuz Im not sure if Im still in the system. plus I want to get back into the feel and groove of the place. I really enjoyed working there when I did, so yup.:-)
Ive been helping my mom out at her elementary school the past 3 days cuz there was tons of faxing and office work to be done and only her, so Ive felt obligated to help her out as much as she can, as so she doesnt bust under the stress. Monday, the teachers are back at school and the kids come in on Wednesday....
Jassen will be visiting in just over a month, so Im very looking forward to September. I've been home for 10 days, but the days are going kinda fast but kinda slow...I guess it depends which angle it is viewed from.
Alrightee....Goodnight peeps!!

I miss...

my boo.
ALOT!!!!
I'm frustrated on many a level, but mostly I just miss his presence around me. His soul is the ULTIMATE company.
I never thought I could ever ever get attach to someone as I am with him, but he lifts my spirits, brings me to a whole other level, and it just feels right...beyond just instinctually....there is so much more...so much.
Im watching a french fim about a housemaid that gets involved with her boss. It's not so sex induced and Ill let you all know if the ending makes the movie.
Here are those pics of things that I wanted to post from a few days back.

Minutes prior to me leaving Jassen's house.
I miss my Salty.

Minnie is my temporary replacement, but it has been confirmed from Jassen that Minnie really just doesnt cut it.:-p

Here I am, trying to be artsy fartsy with the camera....

My kattins!! They are playing a game with me in which I throw their dry food into the bedroom from the stairs and they chase after it. They LOVE it!!

The clouds were looking awfully purty this day, so i snapped a shot. The symbol on the right side is something that I created to represent Jassen and I...Double J!!

Here is my lovely Pepper!! So cute!!

THis is the panini thingie that Jassen and I had. It was WONDERFUL!! As well as a italian coffee ice cream!! Mmm!!

This is me at the airport at that Italian sammich place about ready to head towards security.

Roll CALL!!
Okay peeps...Over the past week or two, to my discover, I am learning that there are a butt load of readers of my blog, but no one says a peep! So, in light of this new-found knowledge, respond, say hello, something!!! Let me know you exist in the blog world!!!
:-p
Oh, so yesterday, I ended up getting a Bride's Book and I will upload a piccie of what it looks like. I was recommended by Val since one of her work buddies is getting married next week and said that it was reallllly useful. So far, I concur. It is well-put together and Im already filling in the details that I know about! It will be a nice keepsake. My mom has already been looking into getting a photo album/scrapbook for piccies, when it comes to that, so that might be the next purchase in the future.
I am giving Barnes and Noble a call today and seeing when I can be put into the schedule. I am SOOOO EXCITED about working again...I miss the people, its a wonderful environment for my personality, I get to talk with people, I just love it and miss it! It will be nice to see all of those familiar faces again!!
Okies...Ill be back with some piccies soon!!

Alright....some ideas...
I am thinking about the potential bridesmaid dresses and hope that there can be different variations for that of a 13 year old and a 9 year old.
Here are my two options that I quite like, but feedback would be most appreciated at this time.
I was going to go with Lilac in colour in order to match my dress, but now, I think I am being suaded to pink cuz that would be very complimentary...
Let me know which one you guys like the most!!
The top one I like due to simplicity and how its snug looking on the top half.
The bottom one, I like the tier ruffles affect and I think it would look very nice when one is dancing.
:-p

Bitter...
sweet.
Life is.
Im scared about what is going on in the world, but
I don't want to fear life.
We arent here just to fear.
Not the name of the game.
Have the hall for the wedding booked and when its decided, will have the wedding in a park in a gazebo. Muy bonita!!!
My friend Val is coming down to Portage tonight and tomorrow, so I might see her tonight. If not, tomorrow will be coffee in the morning!! She is a bridesmaid of mine, so we have TONS to discuss....TONS!!:-p

I read da news 2day..
OH BOY!!
Apparently, the day after I left from Heathrow, there was a terrorist alert and now no hand luggage is permitted until further notice.:-(
There was someone that decided that yesterday would be a good day to smuggle in a bomb in their hand luggage, but they were caught.
So, when Jassen comes to visit, the hand luggage thing might still be in affect, so for that matter, he will have to pack awfully light!
*sighs* Plus there is a person called the Cline Avenue Sniper that likes to shoot at cars and trucks and such, no fatalities so far, but I had to cross through that area in order to get back home on the 8th. Death follows us all.....the days are zooming before me really fast and I cant believe that I am on day 3 being home. Ive been doing so many cleaning up and dusting and will continue this today. Hopefully by tomorrow the house will be nearly sparkling.
Currently, I am eating some peanut crackers which seem to be hitting the spot on the food front, so thats a good thing...I have having the tendency to sleep 6-7 hours a night, but then end up waking close to 5 in the morning. I am slowly adjusting so thats the good news. I will visit Barnes and Noble in the next few days to see if my job is still around for me like promised, so that will be fun to see familiar faces!!
My mom's alarm went off and I dont believe that she needs to be into work until 9. Funny lady...
Yesterday, my mom and I ran over to the Park department in order to book 07/07/07 for the wedding reception. We will be booking the gazebo that is at the park and the reception will literally be a drive down the road from there. Im getting even more excited about this wedding!! And in case if I havent said it properly....
JASSEN AND I ARE GETTING MARRIED!!
It's official. We are goobers.:-p
Alright. Im gwan!

Time...
its playing its tricks on me.
Im nearing a scene of my own crime...
an emotional wreck!!!
How does one say goodbye to their pets?
Ones that they wont see for 7-8 months??
Granted they will be with Jassen and that is a comforting thought, but still.
And yes, im one of those crazy owners that calls themselves their pet's mom!
They are my babies, my kits. I pretty much spend the majority of my waking and sleeping time with them, so yea...and they are uber smart! Im not being so biased really....but Jassen and I talk to our kits and they know how to open doors, with their paws, they know their names, for the most part they will come, if you call them or rattle some food around...and I run around with them in the house. It's one of their favourite games!! Pepper has her toy "doug the kit", and when she wants to play(which is more often than not), she will drag him down from upstairs and lay him before our feetsies....Salt does the same with little toys and mousies as well!
I love them. You look at their faces and they seem humanoid...and i think they understand us more than we realize, our habits, and body language...its a wonderful relationship!
I'll miss them to pieces.
And Jassen, it's so hard....and difficult to be apart. We are strong, but it still hurts. At the moment, I am numb with denial that Im leaving tomorrow. The weekend just zoomed on by! I was telling Jassen earlier that I feel like im on drugs or something and my emotions are dancing on a very fine line....I can fall at anytime into my own pool of tears and sorrow.
Speaking of this weekend,...we went out to Wood Green twice, did some last minute shopping for bits and pieces for me to take back to the states, had some burger king, went home, watched some Trek of Stars(Star Trek:TNG), and eventually went to sleep. Woke up sunday morning...moved around in slow motion, got out of the house around 12ish/1ish, headed to Wood Green, ate at Nando's, had some mild chicken with chips and wild herb sauce and garlic, walked around, got a few more bits and bobs, stopped into the movie theatre, just to get a large popcorn, ice blast(cherry), and pepsi, came home, watched Rat Race, and I did some more packing before we headed to sleep.
Both Jassen and I woke up around 3ish, but I went out like a light about 20 mins or so after that, and then woke up around 7ish, as Jassen was readying himself for work. I felt that he didnt want to leave, but must, plus,...you know when you lie next to your loved one, and then your body temperature is just about perfect and you just want to lay there for as long as it keeps? Yea...one of those days.
Its rainy out, which made me smile. I love the rain, but I heard that it is going to get to about 24-26C today, but still it isnt as bad as 32-34!!
Did my Pilates today, and will keep up with that program, since it is shaping up my legs and arms nicely!! Ive been doing pilates for something like 5-6 weeks and its paying off. Once I get back to the states, I will be walking everyday or biking as well as using the elliptical machine in my sister's old room.
Alrightee...maybe more updates later.
Take Care, peeps!

Do you ever have those..
moments...those moments when you feel like your head is bigger than your body?
I have a bit of a headache and of course it is my nature to blame it on the weather.
I never use to be one to do that....to so quickly lay the blame on natures thang...but the older I get, the more that I feel affected. Maybe its just psychological.
I did some cleaning today around Jassen's house. I spent the majority of my time cleaning up the kitchen and straightening downstairs, as well as the bathroom and hallway and finally, what I am working on at the moment is Jassen's room.
I did a bit of moving around, just to get the "air" circulating and ease the tension that I feel that the room holds if things are left stagnant...So, I did my thing and that was that.
Last night, Jassen and I were talking about the prospect of traveling around Europe for our honeymoon, which would more than likely take place in 2008, a year or so after the wedding. Places that we want to go to definitely are France, Spain, Belgium, and Holland. More than likely we will have to raise some phat cash cuz we would want to go for something like 3 weeks. Things to consider would be some sort of train pass, as well as bussing around places, airfare or boatfare...insurances, food for money and places to stay. Im happy with the fact that euros are a bit pants compared to that of the £.
These are just thooughts, so we will see if any of this comes to fruition. Jassen and I really do want to do some traveling when we can. There is so much of the world to see....
Ive been working on a scrapbook, printing out pictures and adding some dialogues when need be and its really got me motivated about travel and experience.
There is so much to experience and Im about a quarter or so into my life...so much ahead...so much. Its exciting and pressuring, in a good way.
There are 4 more days until I head back to the states....and it just makes me so sad,...the fact that I will be away from Jassen...I dont like the feeling, but i know that we can be strong, when the time calls for it...Ive been known to cry every time we part and the people that are arounds us...you can feel their stares.., as though they have never seen some one cry in public...so many people conceal their emotions...its amazing.
Over and out.

Sleeping in...
sure does feel nice.
MMmmmhmm!
Last night, Jassen and I went out to Outback steak with really one thing in mind. The icecream. The ice cream has a chocolat coating that is very similar to a fudge that my mom, my aunt, or my grandma use to make and to Jassen, it tastes like french chocolat! I think I will ask my mom to teach me how to make this fudge, so that I will be able to in the coming years or now.:-p
For the past two odd days, the weather has been acting quite peculiar. It has gotten colder out the wind is having its way with any tree, person, or animal flying in the sky in sight! I kinda like it, considering first and foremost spring is my favourite season next to fall. But all of this crazy weather has me a bit concerned.
I even had a dream last night/this morning that was a bit bizarre. In it, Jassen and I were traveling about when all of a sudden we found ourselves running around a department store looking for an exit, as all of the shops were beginning to shut. We found a lift, got in. There was a older woman in it, a black dude, and Jassen and I. The black dude accidentally didnt realize that the old woman was in a corner and started to smooosh her and she let him know so. Then the elevator took off, but not in the conventional way...far from. It was going sideways and diagonal and nearly upside down but not quite. I could see through the cracks of the elevator as to which direction were we headed. I just wanted it to get to our destination, which was never inputted, funnily enough!:-p
There was a brace bar that was in front of the elevator doors and the black dude was hanging on for dear life. The old woman turned into a tour guide or elevator operator and was giving play by plays of what was going on. Finally we got out and we were walking on highway 6 in portage near the high school.
Some how, Jassen and I got to Town and Country but in the old one, not new refurbished one, and Valerie was working till. Jassen immediately went up to Val to ask her what she would like us to get her and she said to make it snappy cuz she was going on lunch break in a min. She listed either ice cream, or hot pockets and m&ms. I ran into the ice cream section and I noticed that the lids of the ice cream werent on and that there was a table for samples. It was a bit bizarre so i decided to head for the hot pockets. I remember thinking that i was irritated or jealous at the fact that Jassen ask Val if she wanted something to eat right away and that I wasnt given that option. That part was a bit strange, but most of the time, dreams stretch to make some logical sense.
I know there was more to it..OH YES! The last part of the dream, I felt as though I was watching a movie. It seemed like a horror flick and this girl was trying to put pieces of a puzzle together. I looked at it and realized as soon as the puzzle was put together, then that event would happen.
So, she ended up putting something that said, 220,000 and that might have been in reference to the loss of life due to an ice age in the works. That bit was a bit scary. I think somehow i became more involved and i ended up having some sort of special powers that allowed me to predict these events.
Im noticing a trend in my dreams and they revolve around the idea of cold things, such as ice cream and ice bergs, polar caps melting. I wonder if that is a sign for things to come?:-/
